Sales information
Terms of Sale
The framework for purchasing merchandise from Global Gateway Partners. The written agreement for your order sets out the transaction-specific terms.
GGP as independent seller
GGP purchases merchandise in its own name and sells it to U.S. customers as an independent principal. GGP is not the customer’s foreign purchasing agent. The customer purchases merchandise from GGP under a separate domestic sales agreement.
Importer-of-record role
For merchandise GGP purchases and imports for resale, GGP acts as importer of record and assumes the responsibilities applicable to those transactions. The sale does not provide a right to use GGP’s importer number. GGP does not lend or rent its importer number or act as a nominal importer for customer-owned goods.
Proposals and written agreements
Website information and quote requests do not create a final sales contract. A transaction is subject to GGP’s written sales agreement and applicable trade terms. Confirmed specifications, quantities, price, payment terms, and any included transportation must be recorded in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Product images and catalogs illustrate available product categories or reference editions. Final product selections, finishes, dimensions, documentation, and availability must be confirmed for the order.
Title, risk, and delivery
Ownership, transfer of title, risk of loss, delivery obligations, and acceptance are determined by the written sales agreement. Requested delivery dates and estimated schedules are not absolute guarantees. Production, inspections, customs processing, and transportation conditions may affect timing.
Third-party services
Customs brokerage and transportation services are performed by appropriately licensed third-party providers. GGP does not act as a customs broker or carrier. Any transportation included in a product sale is identified in the applicable sales documents.
Buyer and delivery information
Customers must provide accurate buyer legal names, contact information, intended use or resale, and delivery details needed for the transaction. Customer identity and delivery information may be reported to U.S. Customs and Border Protection as the buyer, ultimate consignee, consignee, or ship-to party when required by law and the facts of the transaction.
Product documentation and order-specific terms
Any applicable warranty, inspection, claims, cancellation, return, or remedy provisions are governed by the written sales agreement and applicable product documentation. A general website statement does not replace those provisions or establish a product certification.
